This project enables seamless communication between industrial controllers and automation systems, providing IoT-enabled automation solutions. It facilitates real-time data exchange between industrial devices, ensuring efficient monitoring and control.

Our Challenge

  • Connectivity and Latency: Handling network interruptions and reconnection mechanisms for uninterrupted data flow.
  • Security Concerns: Implementing TLS encryption and authentication without affecting performance.
  • Performance: Managing a high volume of messages efficiently as more industrial devices connect. Optimizing Node.js and Python performance for real-time data handling.
  • Compatibility with Industrial Controllers: Adapting the interface to support different models and ensuring protocol compatibility with existing industrial automation networks.
  • Data Integrity: Handling message loss, duplication, and out-of-order delivery in MQTT.
  • Interactive Controls for Automation: Providing intuitive UI elements (e.g., switches, sliders, buttons) to send real-time commands. Establishing two-way communication so that user actions are immediately reflected on connected devices.
  • Real-Time Data Visualization: Supporting smooth UI updates without page refreshes using WebSocket and MQTT over the web
